HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHRINA & JAZMINA! ;)
Firstly, I want to say SORRY to Kaths. Beshhtt! I'm sorry I couldn't come to your birthday celebration on Sunday. =/. Sighs.
AFTERNOON
Anyway, we actually gave Jaz a surprise! And yes, she was pretty surprised :P. I don't know with this year with all the surprises. I think it's the fact that most of us aren't in the same class and we can freely go sneaky with preparations and they wouldn't know anything about it. Since back in high school, the "birthday person" is always there, with an eagle's eye, watching over if we're doing anything suspicious. Haha.
Well, we surprised her during lunchtime. We actually put the food and all in someone's locker. I forgot whose locker it was. But the cake was refrigerated in a special room. Hmm, yeap~
So we kind of arranged for Bashie to stall Jaz so that we could prepare the stuffs before she comes and all.
I was the one who took the picture, that's why I wasn't in here with Emay. AWW~
The food and all. :D
They're coming, they're coming!
Close her eyes first!
The delightful cake. YUM oh YUM.
I still remember munching on the cake and it was cheesecake. Oh the joy! Okay, actually that day, I haven't eaten anything else since the day before. From lunch & dinner plus breakfast this day. So my lunch that day was like, CAKE.
Starting from around the second week of May, my appetite just went down the drain. For almost a week, I've been skipping meals since I’ve been feeling less hungry than usual. And you know what they say, if your appetite just decreased all of a sudden, it means you’re in love (or it’s a symptom of some disease. LOL). I wouldn’t want the latter though. I should accept the first one. HAHA. I don’t want to elaborate on that. That’s all. *evil laugh*
Oh well, I ended up vomiting it all out though at home. And no, it’s not Bulimia. It’s a case of “my-stomach-doesn’t-like-what’s-in-it-so-my-brain-succumbed-to-it-and-told-my-body-to-vomit-it-all-out”. TSSSK. No worries, my appetite went back to normal after a few more days. YAY!
EVENING
In the evening, we had this function at the ICC. It was for the Majlis Forum Khas Konsep Melayu Islam Beraja Sempena Jubli Perak Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam Anjuran orang-orang yang dikurniai gelaran. :D. So our school was invited and only 40 (or was it 30?) students were supposed to come. It was compulsory for the MPs but voluntary for MPIs & Prefects. I love to go to functions/events so I signed my name up and thankfully, I didn’t get removed from the list. Phew~ The people in number 6 & 10 on the list were. And if I wrote my name according to the sitting queue, I would’ve been no. 6, instead of Qamarina. :X. And I felt guilty because she couldn’t come when she wanted to. =/. SORRY QAMARINA!
The invitation. :D
[reminds me of this title of a book]
I went to fetch Emay at around 6.40PMish, I wanted to fetch her at around 6PM but she said it was too early. AIGOO! When we got there, the road directly to ICC was blocked. It’s a no-wonder because His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei was going to be there! So we were like, lost, lost & lost! We had to call President to ask where exactly where we were supposed to go to get to where they are. We actually called him twice, SORRY! Then rupanya, we were in the right stadium, it’s just that we didn’t see the buses. Eventually, we found one of dad’s friends on duty as one of the bus drivers. So me & Emay were the first two passengers in the bus. Creepy, in a way. Look, look!;
No worries, we managed to get there and they were all waiting there already. Nice way to enter though, awaited by everyone. HAHA, apakans! But thanks a lot guys, for waiting for us. That's what you get from us, a stylish entrance. LOL. Kidding.
But anyway, we were given goodies!;
The forum actually brought up a lot of interesting issues. Well, the issues that I could catch when I was paying attention, mostly I felt really tired trying to listen when people around me were kind of talking. But I tried my best to listen. There was that especially favourite MIB issue, the teenagers & how they dress up. That made me alert. Since I like issues like those. I even debate about those in my head. Yes :P
Most of the time, this is what we did, taking pictures!
I love the ceiling!
The girls signing my book. :D
Pictures with Emay & Fadhillah. 2nd picture; Emay's hand. Why Emay WHY?! :O
May 20th; Interesting sight.
Lemme talk about how my day was in school. This happened around 11.10AM, Chemistry period. Look what we saw!
Okay, you can't really see what I'm trying to show you. My phone camera's quality sucks, that's why. But what I'm trying to show is this rainbow thing. A spiral one. What an odd spectacle! First time in my whole life actually. It was amazing. Pretty cool!
Anyway, Ms. Joliwane didn't come to school so we kind of have extra PS. Instead of taking the PS, we joined Mr. Killen's class, which is just like, next door. He teaches pretty good. He even explained about the rainbow thing. He said it isn't that rare. It has something to do with the clouds, I think. Okay, remember, I suck at explaining. D:
UPDATE (29/6): Deej took pity on me so she sent me a clearer picture of the spiral rainbow thing. Kamsahamnida Deejah! :]
Better now? Can you see it? :D
Awesome! I was chosen as a representative for the Energy Club in PTEKatok for the Energy Day. So the day before, teacher gave me this shirt & hat which says Energy Club. I like the shirt! “Save Energy, Our Responsibility” It rhymes! Everyone was like, liking the shirt. Little did I know that the others would get nicer shirts than the shirt I have. Just wait and see. So much for me bragging about me being “special”. HAHAHA.
So anyway, I left the house around 6.30AM-ish and went to fetch Emay. We arrived at Taman SOAS around 7AM-ish. Then once again, I camwhored. :D
Mostly, I look like a guy in the outfit. D;
At first, we couldn’t find where the others (Rayyand, Fauzul, Wafi, Lela, Jalyn) were. I called up Rayyand and he sent Wafi to fetch us. When Wafi was approaching us, these black cars just came in from the gate and all and I was eyeing the cars, wondering who those people are in there. I actually didn’t get the chance to know that. Didn’t really care much after finding the others. I saw people of my kind, wearing the same “special” shirts. Quite refreshing to know I’m not the only one because that will make me look like an alien. Outsider. LOL.
Then using their invitation cards (or was it some pass thingy?), the others got their T-Shirts & goodie bags! I didn’t need any pass thingy because Ms. Raimie said my shirt was already proof that I was invited to the Energy Day/Fair. Ehe. :D. The only bad thing was that, I didn’t get any goodie bag. I was like bugging Ck. Makarimi that I wanted one. It was like a kid pestering a parent. :P. Sorry sir! 0:]. In the end, I got one. Given by one of the organizers! Ck. Makarimi is so nice! And I found out something really interesting that day. You don’t have to know~
Well, there was this other funny thing. I was supposed to be at my post. The post I didn’t know of because I kind of wasn’t included in the briefing. I have no idea where they briefed the “special” students. LOL. I wasn’t informed. Sighs. Even sir didn’t know where. That’s the reason why I was late for the lining up of the students. I just found out a few days after the Energy Day that the “special” students were actually the presidents of Energy Clubs in their respective schools. But I’m just the vice president actually. Just clearing things out. :]
Then there was this guy, who was like helping me find my spot in the line-up. Very helpful! Then when the Minister of Primary Resources was already done taking pictures with us, he introduced himself. He’s from PTEM and he thought the K in PTEK is Kuala Belait or something. It was funny! I said “No, it’s Pusat Tingkatan Enam Katok~” He was such a nice guy and unexpectedly, he knew Emay! Turns out he was Wei Kwang’s friend. Hahahaha. No wonder he was asking if my other friends from PTEK were there that day and he mentioned Emay’s name. xD
While the others had to take care of booths around the Taman, I was free to roam around and bug the others while they do their duties. Okay, I didn’t bug them, I helped a bit! But that was after I got the chance to see all the other booths around. The place was pretty packed. The booths were interesting. I roamed around the place with Lilian, a girl I met when I was lonely and Ck. Makarimi was busy talking to a friend so I didn’t have anyone to talk to. Y’know me, I talk to anyone when I’m bored. I can come up with a lot of random questions. Anything under the sun. ;D. So I became her friend easily and we exchanged numbers & emails.
We hung out at Rayyand’s & Jalyn’s booth and I met my sunbae back in Hasan. I was like, “You look really familiar” Even Lela agreed with me. And she, Fiza-sunbae, told us she was from Hasan before. Then we were like “Ohhh, no wonder!”
Anyway, after their duties, we roamed around as well as a group. We saw one of the Princess' husband riding this pedicab vehicle with a passenger ah! He was so nice. He kept smiling. Trivia; Whose husband am I talking about? :D
The others decided to join the Amazing Race but me & Fauzul weren't interested. So what we did was, roam around the place by ourselves and then walked to Yayasan. :D. We even went to Paul & Elizabeth's. I was actually supposed to find something for Juni. But I couldn't find a decent one. I know he's not the bookworm type. Unless it's Deltora Quest. *high five!*
When the others were done with the Amazing Race, they messaged us to go to KFC since they were there and they wanted to grab a bite. Fauzul & I hid from them first but we were founded out easily. Duh, we’re noisy, as always.
While having our lunch, we took pictures as usual. See for yourself;
They’re all so much fun to be around! :)
We went home around 1PM-ish. Wafi stayed longer ‘cause he was going to spend the whole afternoon there. Jalyn sent Emay & I home. Thanks for the ride, Jalyn! J
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!
Another planned surprise party for someone. J. This time, it’s my son. 0:)
The plan was for Basmirah to get Juni’s locker keys ‘cause we wanted to put our presents and some others stuffs (:P) inside his locker. Phew, thank goodness, Juni doesn’t know that Bashie has her own locker already. So she had to pretend. She even had to put her chem file inside his locker, just to make it look real. After signing the card at Zimah’s class, armed with our creative tools, we set out to Juni’s locker. Okay, at first, we were confused which number it was. We even had to try two other lockers. LOL. I’m forgetful bah.
Look how we made his locker pretty ;DD :
I kept giggling when I try to imagine the look on his face when he sees it!
Then at lunch, we all gathered in the canteen. The whole PRYNSA family was there along with our other friends. Azimah & Lela were the ones who took the cake from one of the canteen stalls’ refrigerator. Then BAM! We started singing Happy Birthday (both English & Malay versions)
Johnny was genuinely surprised. When he saw the cake, his face read like “I never expected this” and he even said that aloud. Hahaha. He wasn’t even suspicious of us. Even after what he saw in his locker, There were actually people who witnessed Juni’s reaction the moment he opened his locker. Reaction: Shock. They said he was taken aback and said “Wow” (the shocked way)
Which means…
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
There’s this other thing. I gave him something that when he presses, it gives out a loud laughing sound. That made him jump out of his seat (an expression). He messaged me after that saying he was terkejut. Hahaha. I don’t know, I feel good after I’ve played a prank on someone. The mean side of me. LOL. Guess I got the genes for it..
First, I want to talk about my day.
Since I'm PS 1 with Faiz & Emay, we three love having lunch together before lunch time comes where all the students would be rushing to the school canteen and it'll be so packed, it's hard to buy food. So yeah. While we were walking from the library to the corridor near the English Department and the Math Block, we saw a butterfly on the floor. It was kind of, walking around. Limping, most probably. It was sad to see though. We just left it alone there. To die peacefully. :O. I took pictures, it was such a pretty butterfly;
Anyway, I stayed back for Chemistry Practical. It was the first practical on Titration! Oh, how I miss Titration! My fave. :]. My results were good! I got the orange end-point at least! And some reddish-orange ones! But they're all fine, teacher said. YAY!
A picture or two are the results of mine, Hadijah's & Emay's. I don't know which picture though.
It was kind of scary at the airport. Since some people who were coming out of the arrival area were wearing masks. Most probably people from affected countries by the AH1N1 Influenza. Thank goodness, there was nothing wrong with both Mom & Kuya.
One of the stuffs Kuya brought.
LOL-worthy. :P
A comeback is never complete without bringing Polvoron from Philippines! :D
and, OMG, MAGNOLIA ICE-CREAM!
Go read. :P
Halo-Halo & Macapuno. :D!
Well, I always say that the ice-cream from Philippines is like the best! Magnolia isn't the best yet. There's Selecta! Mango & Ube Ice-cream flavours from Selecta is like the AWESOME-ST of the AWSOMENESS.
I was actually expecting those two but Magnolia isn't so bad! Experience new stuffs once in a while!
They brought my favourite fish too, Tilapia! WHOA. I'm in heaven. :P. There were a lot of snacks as well. Pilipin Keropok! Hahahhaa.
Sorry, my Ate Ren just decided she doesn't want to give my SHINee stuffs just yet. I have to work hard to get them. I have no idea what I should do. But WOW, The SHINee stuffs are LOVE ♥. Yeah, my sis showed it off to me to show how CUTE they were. OMG. T___T.
Guess I have to stop here. I'll be back with June updates & June Holidays updates. I need to break them down since one post can't fit all those. You might get sore eyes. :D. Because you know how long my entry posts usually are~ HAHA.
On a side note,
R.I.P Michael Jackson.
The legendary King of Pop ♥
Your music will still live on and it will continue to inspire people around the world.
You have always been loved by your fans worldwide.
Rest In Peace.
Sighs, I don't even remember the time when I was a kid and I watched Michael Jackson's concert here in Brunei. Years ago. My sis has been telling me this over and over again. She's lucky she remembered at least! She was around 8 years old that time and I was around 4 years old. The date; July 16, 1996 at Jerudong Park. And get this, it was for FREE! :D. It was after His Majesty's birthday. :]
Okay, before I stop, I want to say;
hope you had a great birthday! ♥
So I have to stop here. Ciao.
`yours truly,
R.
